From the rooftop and also some of the guest rooms
you can see spectacular Machhapuchare!

There are views over the beautiful Phewa Lake.
Amid the highest mountains on Earth, Pokhara is home to a Lake that has captured
the hearts & minds of all those who have seen it.
To see the reflections of 8000 metre peaks in the mirror-smooth water
soon after dawn is a memory that never fades.

Pushkar Guest House is situated just past the main cross-roads on the main Lakeside strip.
Lakeside is the main traveller's centre in Pokhara, a long, meandering strip of shops, restaurants and places to stay, running parellel to the lake shore.
A constantly changing, fascinating streetscape (see below) where all the races of the world congregate to relax before and after trekking or rafting, etc.
It's a place where you can stay for months without ever getting bored - there is always something different to do, and someone new to meet.

Part of the "Lakeside Strip" seen from our rooftop. You can see us marked in Red.
The airport is in the lower centre
In 2007 there is a major push to bring travellers back to Pokhara
after almost 10 years of political turbulence.
